Lauren Alaina tests her husband’s girl knowledge, Kane Brown leans into fitness | Music City Minute
Lauren Alaina recruited her husband, Cam Arnold, for the “Ask my husband questions only girls would know” trend, and his confidence was impressive. The “Road Less Traveled” singer fired off a line of questions like “What is a waterline?” “What does purple shampoo do?” “What is a spoolie?” Unfortunately, Cam’s overcompensation of confidence didn’t actually equate a real knowledge because after the line of questioning, Lauren hilariously broke the news that he got every answer wrong. Bless that poor man’s heart – we’ll give him and “A” for effort.

Kane Brown seems like a pretty fit guy. You wouldn’t think he had much body fat to lose. But, apparently, he’s lost 16 pounds in the last couple of weeks. Brown recently opened up about cutting out carbs and sugar so he can become a lean, mean country-music-making machine like Tim McGraw. Well, KB is partially there with his inability to button his shirt, just like McGraw.

Stagecoach and Rock the Country festival recaps | Music City Minute
Country, pop and rock stars came together for Stagecoach Festival in California over the weekend, and it was a smashing success! Headliners this year included Jelly Roll, Zach Bryan and Luke Combs. Jelly Roll’s set was the ultimate party because he invited practically everyone in his contacts to join him on stage, including Shaboozey, Lana Del Rey and good friend Machine Gun Kelly. As for the final headline act, Luke Combs shut down the festival with an epic rendition of “Friends in Low Places” with the man himself, Garth Brooks!

Stagecoach wasn’t the only festival bringing country fans together for a boot-stomping good time. Across the country in Knoxville, Tennessee, Rock the Country festival was in full swing. One of the most exciting moments of the festival was when Ella Langley’s set was crashed by none other than Miranda Lambert. Shocked and emotional, Langley listened as Miranda presented her with the Academy of Country Music award for New Female Artist of the year. Langley later posted on social media, thanking the academy for their votes and fans for embracing her music.

Riley Green adds acting to his resume, country walk-up songs in MLB | Music City Minute
Riley Green has very impressive résumé. He is a country music singer/songwriter, heavy machinery operator and mechanic, professional outfitter and underwear model. But, the newest bullet point he would like to add is actor. Green opened up about auditioning for several shows, although admitting he doesn’t have a lot of time for the small screen just yet. Nevertheless, he feels like acting is something that he would enjoy, and it could help boost his career.

Everywhere you go, you are going to find country music, including Major League Baseball games. Turns out country is very popular for players' walk-up songs. If you happen to find yourself at an MLB game, you might hear tunes like "Cowgirls" from Morgan Wallen and Ernest, "Loud and Heavy" from Cody Jinks, "Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma" from Luke Combs, "God's Country" from Blake Shelton and "God‘s Gonna Cut You Down" from Johnny Cash. The most popular MLB walk-up song this season, though, is Chris Stapleton's "White Horse."

Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton to co-headline show, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill head to New York City | Music City Minute
Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton will be co-headlining the sixth-annual Healing Appalachia music festival in their home state of Kentucky. The largest recovery-based music festival will take place September 19 and 20 in Ashland, Kentucky. The festival is held in September, which is national recovery month. Proceeds from the concerts will be collected for Hope in the Hills, which is a nonprofit organization committed to combating the opioid crisis and supporting recovery across Appalachia.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill packed their bags for a very special trip to New York City this week. The famous country couple were attending a show at Carnegie Hall featuring their daughter, Gracie McGraw. The eldest McGraw daughter was performing in a production called "The Great War and The Great Gatsby". Mom and Dad watched as Gracie showed off her amazing talent in front of a packed house. When the production ended at curtain call, Mom Faith was seen wiping away tears during the standing ovation.

Sara Evans' family expands, Chris Young has new morning routine | Music City Minute
Sara Evans is about to be a grandma! The "Born To Fly" singer's youngest daughter, Audrey, posted a carousel of photos to make the big announcement that she is pregnant. The mama-to-be also shared a video with the sound of the baby's heartbeat. Excited fans shared their joy saying, "Oh my gosh, I remember seeing your mama perform with you and her belly!" The tiny new addition is set to be joining the family in October.

Even though dogs don’t wear watches or look at clocks, they can definitely tell time. Our dogs, for instance, get really antsy around 4:30 p.m., because they know they’re going to be fed in half an hour. Well, Chris Young has learned the hard way that his dog can tell time too. Every morning Porter, the dog, gets Young up at 7 a.m. on the dot. According to the "Aw Nah" singer, there were several weeks in a row we had to get up early, and that feeding schedule just became ingrained in Porter's mind. Who needs an alarm when there is a 115 lb. German Shepherd jumping on your bed, waking you from a dead sleep, right?

Randy Travis poses as wax figure, Jelly Roll overshares on 'Jennifer Hudson Show' | Music City Minute
Randy Travis quite possibly gave the performance of his life when he shocked fans at Madame Tussauds in Nashville. The attraction is known for its life like wax figures. Only, on this particular day, Uncle Randy was sitting in for his wax figure. As visitors posed for pictures of what they thought was the fake Randy, they were encouraged to sing "Forever and Ever, Amen." As soon as they got that final line, ole Randy belted out "Amen" and shocked visitors right out of their boots!

Luke Bryan and Jelly Roll recently stopped by the "Jennifer Hudson Show" to talk about "American Idol." Hudson asked the country stars what the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to them while performing. Jelly Roll revealed that one time he, well, messed his britches on stage. Realizing he probably over-shared, he said he just watched the audience go from loving him to completely blank faces. You know, Jelly Roll is known for his brutal honesty, and he obviously didn’t hold back on the daytime talk show.

Post Malone and Raising Cane's teamed up to earn $500,000 dollars in donations for a local nonprofit in Nashville called Notes for Notes. Morgan Wallen and Dierks Bentley to release new music | Music City Minute
Morgan Wallen has been getting fans geared up for his new album called "I'm The Problem." This week, the "Love Somebody" singer revealed the full track list, along with vintage NASCAR-inspired album art. The massive 27-song project will feature guest collaborations with Tate McRae, Eric Church, Ernest, Hardy and Post Malone. Morgan Wallen's "I'm The Problem" will be released on May 16.

Dierks Bentley also has new music on the horizon. Colorado's favorite adopted son will be putting out an 11-song album called "Broken Branches" on June 13. Bentley described the recording process as a good team of buddies making music together and encapsulating the spirit of individuality. Dierks admits the country music community has a lot of broken branches in it, but they're in it together, and that's what makes it so special.

Carrie Underwood finishes residency, stars join season 27 of 'The Voice' | Music City Minute

Carrie Underwood's Reflections residency in Las Vegas has been a smashing success. Fans lucky enough to attend the closing night performance were treated to an extra special experience. The "Cry Pretty" singer also proudly handed over a nearly quarter million-dollar donation check to the foundation as well.

Thomas Rhett breaks his ankle, Kelsea Ballerini crashes onto stage | Music City Minute
I'm not sure what was is the air last Sunday night, but major country stars were falling harder than a summer rain. First off is Thomas Rhett. He was a surprise guest at Forrest Frank's show in Nashville. As Rhett made his way to the stage, he missed a step and went tumbling. The “T-Shirt” singer made it through the performance like a true professional. Later, Rhett confirmed he broke his ankle and was pushed out of the arena in a wheelchair by his hysterically laughing wife.

Next up is Kelsea Ballerini, who was performing the last show of her arena tour in Toronto. The "Peter Pan" singer was rocking through a cover of "Friends In Low Places" when she accidentally stepped off a raised platform and crashed onto the stage below. Ballerini’s impressive recovery was a 10 out of 10, and she was able to finish the concert.

Chris LeDoux's son shares one of his last recordings, Hank Williams Jr. proves his youth | Music City Minute
It's hard to believe 20 years have passed since losing Chris LeDoux to cancer. One of his last recordings was a song called "One Hand In The Riggin'," which his son Ned LeDoux has shared with the world. The new version is a duet recorded by Ned with his dad's vocals used in the mix. The official music video is extremely sentimental with old reels of Chris' rodeo career, as well as scenes of little boys and their fathers.

Hank Williams Jr. is proving he can keep up with the young'uns. At a recent show, Ole Hank was performing his song "Weatherman" when he "dropped it like it's hot." The rowdy crowd went wild seeing the 75-year-old hasn't settled down and still has moves like Jagger.

Within the span of a week, two massively talented and influential artists were honored with stars on walk of fames. On March 20, Luke Combs received his star on the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville. The "Beer Never Broke My Heart" singer was supposed to receive his star last October, however, the ceremony was postponed while he and Eric Church focused all of their energy on Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Four days later, Trisha Yearwood received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Trisha's resume includes multiple music awards as well New York Times best-selling books and TV host. During the ceremony, Reba McEntire reflected on their long friendship, saying she loved Yearwood from the day they met and country music girls got to stick together and have fun.

Luke Bryan's thoughts on a modern-day supergroup | Music City Minute
One of the most famous country supergroups in history was The Highwaymen, which was made up of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson. The stratospheric star power of the group is nearly impossible to recreate. However, Luke Bryan has a few artists in mind for a modern-day supergroup. Bryan said his band would include himself, Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley. Personally, I feel like we need to round out the group with a fourth member, and I'd like to suggest Blake Shelton. What are your thoughts?

Woman falls victim to Morgan Wallen catfishing scam | Music City Minute
Occasionally, artists will post a warning about online scammers using their name and likeness for nefarious purposes. Unfortunately, a woman in Texas learned too late she was caught in one of these scams. Desiree was featured on a YouTube video for the channel "Catfished." She believed she was in an online relationship with country star Morgan Wallen. After being love bombed with very convincing chats and videos, Desiree was tasked with buying gift cards. Needless to say, she was scammed out of $18,000 before reaching out to "Catfished" for help. Please remember, do not trust an artist profile that DMs you asking for personal info or anything of monetary value. The internet is a weird place, stay safe.

Morgan Wallen's support of his former high school | Music City Minute
Morgan Wallen is being praised for his generosity towards his former high school. The "Sand In My Boots" singer attended Gibbs High School in Knox County, Tennessee. Not only was he a student, he was also on the 2010 state championship baseball team. Even though he is a global super star now, he hasn't forgotten his roots. To date, he has donated more than $35,000 to enhance the school's band, core and baseball programs. In appreciation for the singer's contributions, the school has named their baseball field "Morgan Wallen Field." Interestingly, Wallen's buddy Ernest attended a rival school and recalls playing baseball against Morgan's team. The pair have also been known to sport their corresponding high school jerseys at their concerts.
