Well, dunk my donuts, here we go again. A few days ago, Billy Strings was playing a packed house at the Fisher Event Center in Indiana, and all seemed to be going well. That is, until a mystery projectile hit Strings in the head. In record time, hundreds of fan videos documenting the incident (as well as the "Leadfoot" singer’s not-safe-for-work meltdown) popped up online. “I was just getting ready to say how much I’m happy to be here and I love you guys and all this s***, then you throw something and it hits me right in the f****** head,” said the 33-year-old strum-lord. Unfortunately, the Grammy award winner’s prickly disposition changed the mood of the show significantly. However, after a brief intermission, a smiley, cheekier Billy Strings returned to the stage in a hockey helmet, and delivered more face-melting bluegrass. Mercy sakes, I suppose we ought to add “UFO” to the long list of crowed thrown projectiles, right behind bracelets, Zyn cans, hacky sacks, phones, plastic bottles, underwear, bras, jellybeans, Copenhagen tins and roses.
