Former 14 News Investigative reporter Stefanie Silvey returns to Inside Look to talk about the case of convicted murderer Roy Lee Ward who is to be executed Friday in Michigan City.   Stefanie explains the process and hardships that death penalty cases put on the families of victims and recounts her experiences covering capital murder cases during her time at 14 News.

Former 14 News Director Bob Freeman was recently awarded the Indiana Broadcasters Association's Pioneer Award for his many decades of work as a reporter, producer, assistant news director and news director.   Bob served at 14 News in the 90s and early 2000's.  Bob talks with Jeff Lyons about what makes great news stories and why journalism and local news are still vital today.
