Can Lando Catch Max for The WDC and Adios, Danny Ric

Hosts Alex Kirry and Dan Jimenez jam during this F1 mini vacation talking ab out the Singapore GP, guess how the WDC and Constructors titles will end up.  Daniel Ricciardo is unceremoniously stripped of his seat at RB/VCARD and it looks as though the Honey Badger might be totally done in the sport.  McLaren and Lando Norris have found something extra that could put him over the top vs. Max in the driver's championship but will there be enough time to catch the reigning 3X champion? Ferrari had a disasterous Singapore and Mercedes doesn't appear to have what it takes to take the next step to keep contending this season.  McLaren is currently the team to beat.  Plus, the race in Austin looms at COTA this month.  This could be an exciting final stretch of the season.

Spa Review, George DQ and is Red Bull's Reign Over?

George Russell pulled off one of the most impressive wins of the 2024 F1 season but it only lasted a short time as the FIA ruled that his car was underweight by a mere 1.5KG and Lewis Hamilton, who finished 2nd, was suddenly thrust into his second win of the season.  Dan and Alex discuss the wild ride that Spa was, and a lok forward to the driver market and silly season as the summer break starts up and only 10 more races await after the teams get a quick vacation in.  The guys also discuss the move for Carlos Sainz to Williams and who will fill the other empty seats in F1 come the 2025 season.

McLaren Drama in Hungary Plus Spa Preview

Alex Kirry and Dan Jimenez get you ready for the final race before the Formula 1 summer break.  Last week's race in Hungary gave F1 fans a McLaren 1-2 finish for the first time since 1999 and Oscar Piastri got his first GP win in F1 in his career but it didn't come without any drama.  The McLaren garage had to plead with Lando Norris to give the 1st place position to Piastri after the team had swapped the drivers to avoid a potential undercut by another team.  This was met with some stubborn, awkward conversations over the team radio and eventually Piastri was able to win.  McLaren has a good problem which is being the fastest team on the grid but still have some kinks to work out from the team strategy standpoint.  The guys talk the Red Bull drama, Mercedes new-found success and preview the Belgian GP at Spa.  Take a listen!

Mercedes With 2nd Straight Win, Can They Keep it Up?

Mercedes had a little bit of luck and a massive amount of improvement over a short span that has now equaled wins in both the Austrian GP and the British Grand Prix.  With Max Verstappen and Lando Norris crashing one another out of the Austrian GP, George Russell took advantage and notched Mercedes first win of the season.  In an even more historic British GP, Sir Lewis Hamilton was able to outlast both Red Bull and McLaren (with a little help from some poor McLaren strategy) for his 9th win at his home GP and his first win in almost 1000 days.  An emotional win for Hamilton, to be sure.  Plus, what on earth is happeneing to Checo Perez?  Can Lando get within striking distance of Max in the WDC race?  Take a listen!!

Wild F1 Offseason News as 2024 Season is Around the Corner

Alex Kirry and Dan Jimenez host Mode Push as the 2024 season is now less than a month away.  One big story after another have rolled out of the garages on the F1 grid without even a test lap being logged by the teams.  The news of the Andretti-Cadillac F1 team being denied possible entry into F1, at least for now is where the guys start.  The biggest driver news and seat swapping drama surrounded 7-time champion Lewis Hamilton and his announced move to the Ferrari F1 team after this season.  This of course will start a domino chain of drivers losing seats, changing teams and some even leaving F1 all because Hamilton will leave Mercedes AMG at the end of the 2024 season.  This biggest news of the offseason is that of Red Bull boss Christian Horner who is being accused of an inappropriate relationship by someone inside the Red Bull F1 team and is going to face an independant special attorney investigation starting Friday and many rumors of Horner losing his job at Red Bull have been swirling.  Too many storylines to miss as the guys are back for a third year of the Mode Push Podcast.
