What is "Amendment A"? 
 

The state's largest teachers union has gone to court and asked  a judge to void Amendment A, a new bill describing how the state funds education. The UEA astrongly opposed this new amendment, while Gov. Cox said it would be a good idea to support it. Heather Kelly, Host of Money Making Sense Podcast, joins the show to explain how the amendment works and where the funds will be used, and Amanda Oaks, VP of Canyons District Board of Education, discusses  concerns with the amendment.

Farmington blocks investors from buying up homes 
 

The housing market has been in crisis for a while and it doesn’t help that investors buy up available homes and rent them out. Farmington City has been trying to find ways to help it's residents build up equity in ownership by blocking out these investors from buying up homes in the city. Farmington City Community Development Director, Dave Petersen, joins the show to discuss how these changes have been implemented and what the future looks like for other surrounding communities.

Utah proposal cracks down on vehicle registration 
 

Gear up for a crackdown if you've bought and registered your boat, your car, your RV in another state that doesn't charge sales tax. New data shows thousands have used a workaround to avoid sales tax -- and it's caught the attention of Utah lawmakers. This is costing Utah almost $70 million dollars in taxes that could be put towards fixing roads and other infrastructure. KSL at Night host, Rusty Cannon joins the show to talk about how people have been getting away with this and what the legislature is doing to try and prevent this in the future.
