The Mariners sweep the A's and played arguably their best series of the year, and Brock and Salk highlight the surge in offense from the series. They also react to Julian Love's interview with Bump and Stacy and what impressed them about some of his answers. In Blue 88, Brock takes a look at Gardner, Minshew, a potential Myles Garrett trade and the upcoming UW Football schedule.

Salk reads some positive late night Mariners texts as the they come off a sweep of the A's.  Then, they re-air their conversation with Brian Nemhauser, aka Hawkblogger, to get his takeaways from Seahawks OTA's so far, Jadarian Price and much more.

Sadly, Lyle shares that this is his last week with the show but he won't be going far, as he will be working on the Marine Layer Podcast full time. Then, Jeff Passan joins the show to discuss piggyback starts, the M's facing some difficult situations already this season, the importance of players knowing their roles, Julio taking on more of a leadership role, and how much this team is missing Cal Raleigh's presence.

They also discuss Julio being late to the plate on Sunday afternoon after the 5th inning defensive miscue by Randy Arozarena and wonder if it actually displayed a sign towards Julio's leadership.
