It's been a rough week for James Gunn as the universally maligned final episode of Peacemaker Season 2 releases, capping off a season that started strong with its premiere but quickly fell off the charts completely. Then the news broke about "Superman"... it LOST 42 million at the BOX OFFICE! Superman and Peacemaker season 2's worlds were closely intertwined with appearances from multiple characters from the film, including Lex Luther himself. Will this lackluster start be enough of a foundation for Supergirl and Clayface films to find their footing, or has this whole endeavor been doomed from the start?
