Episode Description
Jimmy Carter died less than a week ago at age 100. He was our 39th President but also an outspoken hero of faith. On this day before the processional begins for his funeral - from Plains GA to Atlanta to DC and back to his Georgia home - here are my thoughts and some history on Carter's life of faith. Make sure to subscribe, follow, like this "Run the Race" podcast for more inspiring stories about fitness too. Former President Jimmy Carter practices what he preached, putting his Christian beliefs into action - in the White House and before/after that...through worldwide humanitarian efforts, working on many Habitat for Humanity projects, and regularly teaching Sunday School at his GA church - drawing thousands. In this shorter episode, also hear more about how his 77 year marriage to Rosalynn Carter was an example of living out faith, along with reading the Bible and very consistent prayer.
