Today on the Morning Edition, a new hurdle in the education funding battle. Governor Mike Dunleavy signed a budget bill yesterday that included a cut to the Base Student Allocation increase initially approved by lawmakers and included in the budgets built by Alaska School Districts.
Plus, people living at Davis Park are on notice. In four days, the city will abate the camp, but some aren’t ready to leave. What some of them are saying and how the city plans to clear the area as smoothly as possible.
