Bowl season: Manny Diaz leads Duke to ACC title + Dave Doeren to return for 14th year

WRAL's  Mark Bergin and Pat Welter discussed Duke's matchup against Arizona State in the Sun Bowl.

Duke head coach Manny Diaz led his team to winning the ACC championship. The guys talked about how there wasn't more interest in other schools trying to hire Diaz.

They also discussed whether other schools would have been better suited to play in the College Football Playoff other than James Madison and Tulane.

Bergin also shared why he believes teams should play in bowl games even if they aren't playing in the CFP.

Bergin and Welter also discussed how NC State head coach Dave Doeren will return for his 14th season. The Wolfpack will play the Memphis Tigers in the Gasparilla Bowl.
