NFL Preseason: Carolina Panthers Lose, Giants Win + HBCU Football

Last night in the NFL preseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Carolina Panthers 19–10 in Charlotte. The Panthers managed a touchdown on a Jack Plummer pass to James Mitchell and added a field goal earlier in the game. What do we think of the Panthers? How good will they be?

In the second game, the New York Giants dominated the New England Patriots 42–10, capping off a perfect 3–0 preseason. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart looked sharp in the first half, completing 6 of 12 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown, while also scrambling for 23 yards. He briefly exited after taking a hit but was cleared and praised afterward by head coach Brian Daboll. Is Dart the real deal? Should Dart start for the Giants? Russell Wilson didn't play for the Giants last night, but is Wilson a Hall of Famer?
