There were 2 NBA play-in tournament games last night.
The Orlando Magic defeated the Atlanta Hawks 120-95 last night. Trae Young was ejected late in the 4th quarter of the game. With the win, the Magic secured the 7 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs where they will matchup with the #2 seeded Boston Celtics. And with the loss, the Hawks will play the winner of tonight’s 7:30pm Chicago Bulls vs Miami Heat game. The Hawks will host the winner on Friday at 7pm.
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 101-96 last night. Jimmy Butler scored a game-high 38 points. With the win, the Warriors secured the 7 seed in the Western Conference playoffs where they will matchup with the #2 seeded. And with the loss, the Grizzlies will have the opportunity to secure the 8 seed on Friday with a win over the winner of tonight's 10 pm Dallas Mavericks vs Sacramento Kings game. The Grizzlies will host the winner on Friday at 9:30pm.
