Marcus Anderson is a highly acclaimed smooth jazz saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist who is Grammy & Stellar‑Award nominated. With more than 12 studio albums spanning smooth jazz, R&B, pop, rock, Latin, and funk, Anderson joins the Sports Shop to enlighten us about the numerous events lined up for him.

Anderson is having his annual Jazz AND Coffee Escape Festival from July 24-26 in Durham, NC. The festival is set to go to Asheville, NC. as soon as next year.

Anderson has toured and shared stages with heavyweights like Stevie Wonder, CeeLo Green, Lalah Hathaway, Judith Hill, Sheila E., Anthony Hamilton, and Miguel. He also has performed at major festivals (e.g. Essence, Montreux, North Sea Jazz) and on national TV shows (Jimmy Fallon, Kimmel, The Tonight Show). A true multi-instrumentalist: also plays flute, piano, bass; serves as singer, arranger, producer, and choreographer. Anderson also created the Marcus Anderson Foundation, supporting youth music education via scholarships, instruments, and mentorship.
