We spoke to Ole Miss Rebels' Jaden Pone last Friday prior to her game against the Oregon Ducks. Over the weekend, the Oregon Ducks secured a dramatic 6-5 victory over the Ole Miss Rebels in a Women's College World Series (WCWS) elimination game on Friday night in Oklahoma City. The game extended into 10 innings, showcasing resilience and clutch performances from both teams.

In the seventh inning, Ole Miss capitalized on fielding errors by Oregon to score three runs, tying the game at 5-5 and sending it into extra innings. In the bottom of the 10th inning, Oregon loaded the bases, and Kedre Luschar drew a walk to secure the game-winning run, advancing the Ducks in the tournament. This victory marked a significant achievement for Oregon, allowing them to advance further in the 2025 WCWS.
