Lukáš Pařík on acclimating to America and putting in the work to achieve your goals

Jay Stevens is joined by Utah Grizzlies Goalie, Lukáš Pařík, to dive into his career so far including growing up playing hockey in Prague, Czech Republic, getting drafted by the LA Kings in the third round, and some of his hockey inspirations growing up.

We also dive into how he turned to Friends to become fluent in English, the culture shock he experienced coming to America, and how COVID-19 impacted his career while playing in the Czech Republic.

Lukáš also breaks down his time with the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL, his battles with the Utah Grizzlies while playing for the Rapid City Rush, and the accident that would leave him with multiple broken ribs after getting hit by a wrong-way driver.
