Long-time Hollywood actor Colin Cunningham (“Horizon: An American Saga”, “The 6th Day”, “Da Vinci’s Inquest”, “Stargate”) joins Andy Farnsworth to talk about how impressed he is with the movie industry in Utah. Cunningham moved from New York to Utah in 2020 to be near family and, in his own words, thought his career was going to be over. But he was blown away by the level of talented actors here, and the emerging filmmaking voices. He says aspiring actors shouldn’t think they have move to L.A. or N.Y. to make it, since there are more and more great opportunities available right here in our own backyard.
He also his strong feelings about the current quality of most of the content coming out of Hollywood (he’s not impressed), and talks about his experience in Kevin Costner’s filmed-in-Utah epic “Horizon: An American Saga”, and his upcoming project “The Pendragon Chronicles”.
