Stokley and Evans with Mark Schlereth

In the 3rd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they listen to Bo's press conference from yesterday and they wonder what it will take for the young QB to get back to form. They highlight the turnaround of Jahdae Barron in PS2 and Moss's absence. Has Moss been Wally Pipp'd? The Fan's Nuggets writer, Jake Shapiro, joins the show to give us his biggest storyline for the Nuggets, tell us about the changes on the training staff, and David Adelman's job security. Jonathan Cooper is back and the Morning Crew sort through what we learned about the young edge rushers that played in his stead. Are there any starters, or just role players? Mike, Stink, and Stoke wrap up the third hour talking about hate watching. 

In the 2nd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they make fun of the podcast grind before they hear Bo Nix saying the right things at his press conference yesterday. They discuss the return of Jonathan Cooper. The guys look at the biggest glaring hole on the Broncos' roster. Mike presents his biggest storyline for the Nuggets' season, which has been a struggle for the last few seasons. They dive into the discussion about Bo's ankle and accountability. Does Sean Payton need to take some blame for Bo's performance? The Morning Crew wrap up the second hour in 4 Down Territory where there was a scary situation in Tennessee, Nine (times two) gets the nod, and the NFL looks into Philly's malpractice. 

In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they open the show previewing their biggest storylines for the Nuggets. They hear Bo take accountability and open up about his ankle. Mike asks Stoke if the Broncos could make a throwback, dead-ball type of game plan moving forward. A 6am listener presents one of the biggest storylines of the Nuggets season on a silver platter. Bo talked a lot about his ankle and rehab yesterday, including some info about the timeline he's running on that has the guys scratching their heads. Mike and Stoke wrap up the first hour hearing from Joel Klatt and Ryan Fitzpatrick.  

For the 4th and final hour on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they let their inner 80-year-old out and talk about lawn care. The old men yell at clouds about modern discourse. They take a break from Bo Radio 24/7 to dump on CU Buffs fans that are trying (and failing) to defend the current state of the Coach Prime regime. They explain why the Avs' 5-4-1 start isn't a big deal. They talk about lawn care even more before they hear Steve Young talk about the effect Mike Shanahan had on his career. The Morning Crew ends today's show with a debate about the onus on players versus coaching.  

In the 3rd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Fox Sports’ Lead College Football Analyst, Joel Klatt, hops on the line to break down Bo Nix's struggles this season from his perspective as a former QB himself. Stink and Stoke respond to a couple of texters pushing back on the nonstop criticism of Bo Nix. Stoke saw something from his honorary nephew that he wants Bo to adopt. The guys end the third hour debating whether Bo coming out at his presser the same way Arch Manning did will accomplish anything of any real substance.  

In the 2nd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they chew the fat about the top and bottom of the hour as they get Stink's Wishlist on the possible Colts fire sale. They tease the return of the Paxton Lynch smear campaign and consider the possibility of benching Bo Nix. They hope Bo's struggles are just a slump for the young QB. They hear Steve Young talking about Mike Shanahan and Sean Payton. The guys aren't worried about the Avs' 5-4-1 start to the season. The Morning Crew wrap up the second hour in 4 Down Territory where the Broncos get a fair ranking, Brandon McManus is the next kicker up in LA, Coach Prime is down but not out, and AB has another terrible venture.  

In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they take a break from the last three weeks of topics and takes to introduce "No Disrespect Wednesday" and call out the Avalanche for phoning in on their east coast road trip. They look at a possible opportunity to add one of the best RB's in the NFL to the struggling offense. They get some "No Disrespects" about the Avs' goaltending, Bo's pocket passing, and a missed opportunity this past offseason. They react to Arch Manning's comments about his scuffling play as of late and they think Bo could learn a thing from the young Manning. Mike and Stoke wrap up the first hour discussing Jonathan Taylor's fit with the Broncos and the difference between the Avs' losses and the Broncos' offensive struggles. 

For the 4th and final hour on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke vents about the excuses being made for the Broncos offense as the guys break down some of the obstacles the Broncos' offense faces. Sean Payton went after a national talking head for a take on Bo Nix before the season, so what does his silence about Bo's struggles say? Bo hasn't been willing to run the ball this season and the guys explain why it's hurting the offense beyond the obvious. The Morning Crew cap off today's show answering texts from the listeners defending Bo Nix's play. 

In the 3rd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke opens the third hour with the guys on the Broncos' offense that he wants to see replaced. Mike tries to find some building blocks the Broncos can use to improve the offense. They debate the need for a salary cap with the World Series set with two mid-market teams. Is the Bo Nix bashing going too far? Not according to Stink and Stoke. Stink breaks down the amazing game that Vance Jospeh called on defense in his Telestrator Tuesday film breakdown.

In the 2nd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke is done with Bo Nix, he calls for the Broncos to bench the 3rd year QB. They address James Palmer's tweets about the information he's getting from the Broncos about the problems Bo's facing this season. Stoke breaks down more of Bo's struggles in his Telestrator Tuesday film breakdown. The Morning Crew wrap up the second hour in 4 Down Territory where the NFC Least is back, the Eagles engage in literal malpractice, the Colts finally cut bait with Chris Ballard.

In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike catches up with Stoke after missing Mondays' show. The guys discuss the future of baseball next season with the World Series set with two mid-market teams. They react to Sean Payton's comments about Bo and the offense. They highlight a few key players returning to the lineup before they preview a tougher-than-advertised matchup with the Cardinals. Mike and Stoke are joined by our 9News Broncos Insider, Mike Klis, to discuss Bo's performance and standing with the team. 

For the 4th and final hour on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, James Merilatt fills in for Mike Evans and asks Stink and Stoke when it's time to sit Bo Nix for a couple games and try to get him right?  Stink brins up the lack of a running game is not helping Bo, and he doesn't think the Broncos do anything well on offense.  James ties a bow on the show by suggesting the Broncos bring in a certain QB to replace Bo.    

In the 3rd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, James Merilatt is filling in for Mike Evans, and the guys break down CU's close loss to Utah on Saturday, and James asks Stink and Stoke if close losses are enough?   They close out the hour by figuring out which Cornerback they think the Broncos should pay after Kris Abrams-Draine and Jahdae Barron have played so well. 

In the 2nd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mark Schlereth joins the show with James Merilatt filling in for Mike Evans and the guys try to make sense of the Bo Nix situation.  They listen to comments made by former Broncos CB and member of the "No fly zone" Aqib Talib defending Bo, but they don't all agree with him. 

In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, James Merilatt is filling in for Mike Evans, so he and Stoke try to figure out what's wrong with Bo Nix.  W listen to some incendiary comments from Aqib Talib defending Bo from public criticism.  James and Stoke finish out the hour by asking the question no one wants to ask; should they bench Bo Nix? 

For the 4th and final hour on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they give as many flowers to the stellar Broncos defense as they possibly can for their performance from last night and the last 5 weeks. They hold Bo Nix and his defenders accountable, responding to messages from the 9am listeners. Stink got a text from Vance Joseph himself, getting more insight into the way the Broncos covered JSN. Mike and Mark cap off the week stealing Stoke's thunder and asking the million-dollar question: how do you feel about the Broncos sitting at 4-2 after the 6-game gauntlet with the way it has looked?  

In the 3rd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, our NFL Insider, James Palmer, joins the show to address Ryan Fitzpatrick's comments after the game, he discusses whether to bench Bo, and Vance Joseph's chances to get another opportunity to be a head coach. Mike and Mark respond to the 8am listeners texting in reminding them that the Broncos, in fact, won last night. They hear Bo's explanation for the lack of explosive plays and a Broncos great take him to task for his performance in a prove-it game.

Was there anything that the Broncos could build upon from the first half that they could use to pick it up moving forward? The guys have a hard, real discussion about how long the Broncos can keep rolling out Bo Nix with the way that he's playing right now. Stink's coffee pot pet peeve strikes back with a vengeance before responding to texts from the 7am listeners telling everybody to just enjoy 4-2. Mike and Stink point out the players on offense that need to be replaced during the mini bye like JK Dobbins and Ben Powers. In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they chat about the Seahawks, and they see an opportunity for Bo to fire back at the critics nationally and locally. They look for ways to get Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton back on track. The guys look at the best receiver in the NFL right now, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and the threat he presents to a beat-up Broncos secondary. Mike and Stoke close out the first hour wondering how Bo will respond to the influx of negative national attention.  

For the 4th and final hour on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they hear what Stink would say to Sean Payton to fix the run game. Mike tells a listener to pound sand by stressing how tenuous the Broncos' 3-2 record is at the moment. They highlight the turnover numbers the Broncos defense is putting up and gives a reason for optimism tomorrow night against the Seahawks. Mike did some kitchen counter research and found reasons to be patient with Bo Nix. The guys cap off today's show refuting a point that The Drive made about Bo Nix's press conference yesterday.
