After a tough loss to FBS Nevada Wolfpack, Jason and Coach Brennan Marion sit down and recap the game.  They also look ahead to the home opener on Saturday against Mercyhurst.  Next, it's a trip to the field to catch up with senior punter Cal McGough as he explains how he got to Sacramento State and all the different tricks of the trade with being a college punter. 

We sit down with Head Coach Brennan Marion to get his take on the South Dakota State game and what needs to improve for the Nevada matchup.  We also sit down with veteran Hornet defensive lineman Xavier Williams and get his perspective on his time with the green and gold.

Fresh off the bye week the Hornets return home for their Big Sky Home Opener against Eastern Washington.  We preview that game on this week's episode and sit down with senior nickleback Gavin Davis Smith.  We also check in with former Hornet Troy Steifel and share his story of how he saved a life.  The Hornets are giving back and you can too by getting involved in the National Donor Marrow Program.  This week is cancer awareness and health care appreciation night at Hornet Stadium. 

This week we catch up with Sacramento State President Dr. Luke Wood and Athletic Director Mark Orr on all the exciting announcements that have been happening with Sacramento State Sports.  We also look back at the opening Big Sky loss to Northern Arizona and look ahead to the bye week and Big Sky schedule.
