Andy's KSL-TV #WhatToWatch: ‘Project Hail Mary’ is easily the best move of the year so far

Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of March 20, 2026. "Project Hail Mary" is the big release of the week and probably the best movie of the year so far… or even last year. While trying to not get listeners over-hyped, Ryan Gosling does a phenomenal job in this funny, charming and visually stunning sci-fi film based on the book of the same name from “The Martian” writer Andy Weir. 

Also out on the big screen, the goofy violence rules the day in "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come" which has some great actors like (Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, Elijah Wood) but it just didn't click for Andy--even though some people will like this horror sequel full of deals with devils, sisterly strife, and a kids game turned evil. 

On streaming, if you can handle some of the vulgar jokes, "Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” is almost as funny as the first season of "Jury Duty,” with a mockumentary/realitytv vibe.
