Episode Description

'Inside Out 2' is the latest Disney/Pixar sequel. This time, our beloved starring character, Riley, whom we fell in love with in 2015's "Inside Out," has reached her teenage years, and the emotions that live in her head are getting more complex as she faces new social-emotional challenges. In this episode of Fan Effect, we review and then take a deep look at the sequel with two knowledgeable guests. First, with the parent's outlook, Jake Deitz (Movies that Make Us Podcast, The Geeky Mormon, and contributor at Age of Geek) who wrote of the movie, "A Sequel with Soul: Inside Out 2 Charms and Captivates." And our second guest is a 13-year-old herself, producer and host KellieAnn Halvorsen's talented niece Adele Kemp, whom you might have heard as the lead girl in the KSL's Quarters for Christmas Radio Drama in 2022. While our first segment is spoiler-free, the fun really happens when they dive into the themes and insights of this fabulous family flick for the last two segments.
