BYU football improves to 3-0 in the 2025 season after defeating the East Carolina Pirates, 34-13.

KSL Sports BYU Insider Mitch Harper and Cougar Sports Saturday co-host Kyle Ireland shared their thoughts on the win as they covered the game from Greenville, North Carolina.

Bear Bachmeier shined in the win, passing for 246 yards and also running for a 16-yard touchdown.

LJ Martin had his third consecutive 100-yard rushing output of the night, which also included his first rushing touchdown of the season.

BYU's defense went 11 consecutive quarters without giving up a touchdown to open this season. They took care of business against the East Carolina Pirates' up-tempo offensive attack.
