“America is not the Church.”
That statement might feel surprising at first — but it’s an important one.
In this episode, Carol, Kelly, and Tricia talk about what it really means to see the Church the way Jesus does: global, diverse, and not confined to one nation or culture. It’s easy to assume our American expression of Christianity is the standard. But the Gospel didn’t start here and it certainly doesn’t end here.
Through stories from Ghana, Rwanda, Panama, and Israel, the ladies talk about how believers around the world worship with deep joy - often in the middle of poverty, persecution, or uncertainty. And it gently challenges us to ask: Have comfort and wealth shaped my faith more than I realize?
This episode isn’t about criticizing America. It’s about expanding our perspective. The Church is bigger than our borders, bigger than our preferences, and bigger than our politics.
Jesus is building something global and we get to be part of it!
