Our guest is Will Abrams, a wildfire survivor and organizing advocate with the Utility Wildfire Survivor Coalition, a grassroots group representing thousands of wildfire survivors across California. After narrowly surviving the 2017 Tubbs Fire, Will dedicated his work to advancing policies that promote wildfire safety, climate resilience, and fair treatment for survivors. He’s here to discuss AB 2700 and ongoing legislative efforts to secure full compensation for survivors of California’s devastating 2015–2018 utility-caused wildfires.
