It's a happy day on December 15th as we celebrate the birthday of Bill Bowke: a local legend, a long-time Sonoma County radio personality and music advocate best known for his decades on the air at KRSH (“The Krush” 95.9 FM) and before that at local stations like KVRE. He’s widely credited with shaping the region’s roots music scene by championing blues, Americana, folk, and roots-oriented sounds for listeners and live audiences alike.
