Club Heaven at The Hawk to celebrate Black LGBTQ history

Today on "The Metro," we're joined by Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Programmer Sam Koeppe and Detroit Sound Conservancy Board Member Damon Percy to talk about a special event at The Hawk paying tribute to Club Heaven, an inclusive space created by a group of Black LGBTQ young people in the 80s. Also on the show, we talk to Co-founder and Executive Director of the Detroit Black Community Food Sovereignty Network Malik Yakini, about the newly opened Detroit People’s Food Co-op in Detroit's North End neighborhood.
