As we approach the 2026 election year, a petition is going around for a new voting method: rank choice voting. How does this different style of voting work and would it make voting smoother? This week on MichMash, WDET's Cheyna Roth and Gongwer News Service's Alethia Kasben talk with Rank MI Vote's Executive Director Pat Zabawa. 
 
Zabawa advocates that this new voting method would better our voting system.
