Oklahoma State linebacker Tate Romney joins Big 12 Today! Romney spent a year at Arizona State and a year at BYU. He shared that he nearly hung up his football cleats due to unfortunate injuries earlier in his career.
However, his love for the game convinced him to continue playing, and football remains his true passion. Romney now resides in Stillwater and expressed that he's comfortable living in a small town, as he grew up in a small town in Mexico.
He also mentioned living in El Paso before moving to Arizona, which exposed him to various obstacles due to relocating frequently. Romney noted that making friends as a child was easier, but his approach to forming connections has changed in his adult years.
He is excited about what head coach Eric Morris will bring to Oklahoma State and his dream to make the NFL.
