BYU running back LJ Martin joined the Big 12 today to discuss the upcoming season for the BYU Cougars.
He shared what fans can expect from him as the season approaches and expressed his excitement about playing a second season alongside Bear Bachmier. Martin highlighted that the offense will be more explosive this year and mentioned his goal to improve his draft stock for next season.
He also reflected on growing up in a basketball family, noting that he initially considered himself an okay basketball player. However, during his sophomore year, he realized he was better suited for football, despite basketball being his first love.
Martin explained that his nickname "LJ" stands for Little John, named after his father John. He also discussed his journey in college football and how he committed to BYU, sharing his path to becoming a Cougar.
