Lately, Micah has been talking about the few things she feels truly passionate about. Being a good parent is one of those things that can keep us up at night. Micah hopes to share some clarity and ideas but mostly, she wants to encourage parents in just a couple of things that she has found to make a huge impact in the lives of her children.

It’s time to see childbirth in a different light. Micah Burgess is the owner & founder of Waco Doula and has recently published a book called, The Humor in Birth; Stories & Insights from a Doula. People are looking for light-hearted & enjoyable in their lives right now. This podcast will take something very sacred, monumental, and at times traumatic to a fun, delightful, and normal place. The generation that is having children is information hungry and they find it in YouTube channels, Instagram, and podcasts. Pregnant women are constantly researching so they can be more prepared for birth. This podcast will not only give them the knowledge they’re craving but will do it in a positive, humorous way from an expert in childbirth; a doula. Everybody wants to know what a doula knows. This unique spin on presenting childbirth makes it approachable, normal, and positive.
