The Big Bad Broadcast EP 251 -- Comedy, Horror, and Fraud

In this episode of the Big Bad Broadcast, we dive into a lively discussion about the current state of television and the rise of horror as a dominant genre. We share our thoughts on shows like "Widow's Bay" and "Ted Lasso," highlighting the importance of well-written content and the frustrations of waiting for new seasons.

We explore the evolution of horror in media, comparing classic suspense films, such as those by Alfred Hitchcock, to modern gore-fests like the "Saw" series. We share our theory on why horror has become so popular and express our thoughts on binge-watching shows rather than waiting week to week for new episodes.

The conversation takes a humorous turn as we reminisce about our favorite comedians, including Dom Irera and Sebastian Maniscalco, and share personal anecdotes that showcase the camaraderie and kindness within the comedy community. We also touch on the absurdities of reality TV and the challenges of hecklers in live performances.

As we wrap up, we reflect on the changing seasons and the unpredictability of weather, all while keeping the tone light and entertaining. Join us for a fun-filled episode packed with laughter, insights, and a few unexpected tangents! As always, we had some fun, but we've gotta run.
