Is Erica thinking about moving to Viet Nam? On todays call Erica and Mark talk Miami Vice and the radio people we knew who were actually in the show with talking parts. Both loved the show and Mark re-watched / binge watched it last year. (He also watches Nash Bridges) Man Crush? The 2 traded old radio stories about the people they hung out with in Macon who were real cool for being famous musicians as they celebrated Chuck Leavell's 74th birthday... Since Mark is a relic and Erica is getting old they Dr talked as both of them are getting poked this month...Erica shared her Tom Petty brush story which started with her landlord. Free stuff we got paid to talk about, car stereos and Carnival of Terror that Erica missed.

On todays Mandatory Phone Call of Friendship Mark shares the news of a radio DJs passing... Bob of The Bob and Tom Show out of Indy... As syndiction was becoming popular and eveyone wanted Stern money local morning shows were being replaced by shows like B&T... Erica and Mark talk about the show and remembering the cease and desist they recieved by the B&T attys for replaying a bit from one of their CDs that were given to them by a listener... They also talked about old radio bits of their Macon days... One being famous listeners like Weird Wayne who spent most of his listening time in jail and real calls that sounded like radio bits.. And they end the call on a bit that has lasted the 4 decades its been around The Weekly World News Headlines.

On Todays Mandatory Phone Call of Friendship Erica has a new book featuring an "actual" interview with a gray that took place in 1947... Mark and his non compliance with technologhy spent the entire phone call chatting with Go Daddy on his SSL issues with his radio stations web site. Of course it cost him $130 because of his imaptience and fortunately that issuse was fixed too... Go Daddy customer service has a lot a patience... We talked station merch including never actually seeing people wearing station t shirts any more and they brough back an old radio bit Tabloid Tuesdays as The Weekly World News still brings the heat.

On todays call ... well any call those two were AOR ... All over the road... More CERN talk and the conspiracy theory of the Mandella Effect... AI and the Asian simulated "friend" as Erica was practicing her Japanese is she getting close to ruling out all people for a AI pal? ... Where you can get vintage radio station T-shirts for radio nerds... Looking for lost DJs Mark discovered Rocco passed a while back (great radio talent) and how they lost a gig to Sea Bass and was surprised he would have left Tampa for West Palm... While looking for where he is now the internet did not know SB's real name. Erica thought she heard he had passed to and the only Sea Bass they could fing was from the deadliest catch (which he had passed).. And finally the dirtiest things in your house and no the toilet was not number one.

Todays Phone Call Erica and Mark have concert stories as Mark saw Plant's new band Saving Grace and Erica saw Wide Spread Panic... Comparing concert T shirts and discusing concert behaviors that do not change even thought the audience is getting older... We also talk radio demos, record reps, Technology vs the elderly and stuck people, Nascar, Formula One and the greatest commedians and no neither one of them made the list...

No Luck of the Irish for Mark as Erica went down too many rabbit holes this week... Is there such thing as too much YouTube?? From crystals in her ears to UFOs and "special" government projects discussed in movies?? Could the new Spielberg movie be the answer to Close Encounters? Mark will never know because he has never seen Close Encounters.. No you heard right..The eighties was a special time for Mark working bars in Spring Break and getting high and drunk he misssed an entire decade maybe a decade and a 1/4 since he missed the end of the seventies too... Finally Mark and Erica maybe getting back together in person as Mark is asking her to go see PIL since his wife said pass...

On todays call Marks old station 96 K rock get a face lift with some new old faces.... as new owners take over and old employees are back. Erica had a long week explaining to his daughter about long distance calls and operators who help make the connection...We also find out the best drinking locations, the smartest animals and more on todays call...

On todays call Erica couldn't wait to jump on Mark about his party affilation after Mark brought up the Tampa Airport putting a ban on pajamas... Although TIA like other governmental departments have hired smart asses to handle their social media accounts and sometimes they like to troll... Mark finally convinced her he wasn't weird abojut it he was just making a observation based on a Mike's Weather Page FB post... Besides sarcasm in signs we talked NASA and the delayed Moon launch AI dining and drag (the cars) racing we also found out why the different color heart emojis.

On todays call we radio talk and radio names, TV commercials on Pluto TV Words that are allowed on Facebook and those that are not..Whos in charge of that? Ericas hat game, Mark and Ericas war stories from S Fla in the 80s and jobs that you quit almost immediately...

On todays call It's Mardi Gras at least where Mark lives... The call starts off rough as they started before the credits rolled and it spiraled from there. Erica learns about the "baby" and Mardi Gras although she swears its about the Epstein thing... Mark extends another invite to Erica to join him and his wife in the Big Easy to see NOLA with it's great food and interesting people...Mark may want to live his life out as an AI picture of himself as AI has shown him as a younger man a black man and now an image created from a current picture of which according to Mark AI makes him look better than real life... We learned a new word Sologamy which turned into Marks rant on Webster bending over to the kid words instead of leaving them for the urban dictionary...

On todays phone call an urgent family issue cut the call shorter some may say the shorter the better .... We talk more on Molt Book and why Erica's AI "freinds" are no longer talking to her .... Are we living in Terminator Days? Mark has only see one of the movies and as usual had no idea what Erica was trying to say. And just in time for VD .. Zodiac signs and how easy they are to love...

On todays call Mark has the REAL reason what happened to the weather guy in SWFL. Apparently a lot more than he shared... It happens all the time in the media... Most of the time its just about the money but you can't put your self in a place that will be the first cut.  Erica explains her " I don't feel tardy" T shirt.... Mark shares a freaked out FB page called Shockfactor AI.... You've been warned...Claude and Cove Erica's AI friends are not talking to her...Not sure why but there is something there we will need to get into soon. And,  are Cove and Calude part of the new the AI social media page MoltBook? This and other nonsense for free and in less than an hours time.

Mark is having a not so fun Month as the new year has brought him home repair issues causing an etire disruption of his normall boring life.... They also talk clutter and ways to say goodbhye to things you will never need and mostlikely your family will throw away once you are dead. Finally a Not So Famous list of top states people are moving too.

On todays  Phone Call we celebrate National DJ day and show case why we never "really" made it. An AI radio station launched on FM (Mark has one running for the past 5 months online) using old DJs from the past and it sound it. Plus we discuss the DJ who photoshoped himself into a MLK photograph while Ericas friend made Erica into woman of color. Plus we see how much humans can tolerate before dying although we do that eveytime we upload a podcast.

On todays phone call we talk firing in TV and Radio as a weather guy from FT Myers got fired and apparently its becoming viral... Mark talks about how easy it is to be fired in Florida with the laws and non compete clauses in the contracts... Which gets them talking about times they were fired, radio budgets, and talent that is off limits and will never be fired...We also talk about the death then return of MTV or is it? The music of today and the past, radio shows that we dont get and how we could have handled the way we were split up...Banned songs and the most annoying people by name according to a poll from the  Not Good Show.

Happy New Year and Welcome to Season 3

More of the same.... as the break did not bring us back feeling more creative... On todays call Erica and Mark talk about Maqrks return to Florida for Christmas vacation and not one but two visits to Sarasota to have lunch with Erica and her daughter... Mark is now on the new App and he calls it InstaGram... I know...give him a pass... We also talk tatoos for kids, class reunions, and new music written and performed as it should be non commercialized like the classic rock we grew up with...Radio consultants and a new You Tube channel Erica found called Lauren The Mortician and a  Top 5 list of names associated with STDs according to a Podcast called the Not Famous Show.

The Last call of the year as Mark is visiting Fla and Erica for the holidays.. Most of the phone call was about the new law in Florida and tags.. You may love your college or maybe nurses are sexy license plate holders but no can do in Florida even if you are a tourist... $500 is the cost of the ticket and there are apparently no warnings... Mark has a see through plexi glass cover for his tag and everything is readable...Mark has paid all his tolls in the past from the tag readers and even sent an extra $150 to the city of Orlando for running a red light but Mark could not argue his way out of not taking the plate cover off before the trip.... Erica bought a Christmas gift for her favorite person herself with a BMW booster for her electric suv... The gang discused holiday plans and arrangemnents for the 2 meet ups and just ran out of time to actually have some interesting topics... We'll try more next year! Happy Christmas! Since before the colonization of The America's we have all fit into a group...Is Joe Jackson taking a pot shot at the older groups by saying he is Live and Local like we did in radio against our syndicated competitior ? He says real singing and intruments...NO AI or backing tracks....Why is every bald man and woman thinking about a trip to Turkey for hair transplants? Should schools bring back shop class? We say yes so kids can make theirt own Chinese star weapons like we did.... The Christmas Holiday Radio Blood Baths of the past are no longer?? Phone and Email scams where Mark actually fell for one as Erica was expalining how it works and may or may not have given her his last four SS numbers. Erica thinks Marks name was given to him because he would easil;y become a Mark...Fake Brad Pitt cost a rich lady 3/4 of a million Erica only got $10 off of Mark. We talk concerts we have seen and now don't want to see as the bands really no longer exist.. Mark talks about a hologram show he saw and thinks he would go see a Jimmi Hendrix version.
