On this episode of the Bubba The Love Sponge® Show, Bubba breaks down why CNN, ABC, and NBC passed on airing the president’s latest address while CBS jumped in late, lays out what the FCC actually requires with EAS tests, public service hours, and EOE files, explains that no rule forces networks to carry a presidential speech and that yanking licenses over politics would blow up the First Amendment, then riffs on ratings, lost commercial breaks, polarized audiences, China interference claims, and how skipping the speech may backfire by turning networks into martyrs in the news cycle.
