On this episode of the Bubba the Love Sponge® Show, the crew keeps hammering the Victor Hedman story, pointing out that the Lightning’s captain only suited up for 33 games in a brutal, injury‑and‑mental‑health season, then stepped away while still sitting on an $8‑million‑a‑year deal that works out to roughly $97,000 a night if you spread it over 82 games. They walk through how his absence changed Tampa Bay’s chances against Montreal, read X/Twitter backlash and Canadian beat‑writer criticism, talk about having two or three off‑air sources behind the infidelity chatter, and even game out what happens if a 770 notice or legal letter shows up, including a lawyer‑vetted on‑air apology they’re ready to roll if somebody proves they crossed the line.
