Thursday's speech will be Trump's first since he was cut off mid-sentence by a flurry of gunfire in an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Alabama is set to execute a man for the 1998 shooting death of a delivery driver during a robbery attempt near an ATM. Keith Edmund Gavin is scheduled to receive a lethal injection Thursday night at a prison in southwest Alabama.

(AP) — Hundreds of people who gathered to remember the former fire chief fatally shot at a rally for former President Donald Trump have been urged to find “unity” as the area in rural Pennsylvania seeks to recover. Wednesday's public event was the first of two organized to memorialize and celebrate Corey Comperatore's life, with the second to happen Thursday.
