Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski has a bye week to recover from a knee injury before Iowa plays at Wisconsin on Oct. 11.
The Cyclones don't have the luxury of a bye to adjust after big losses in their secondary. Corners Jeremiah Cooper and Jontez Williams are both out for the season with ACL injuries.
