In this month's episode of 'Upfront with Guy Hagi,' Hilo native Gwen Nakamura shares her experience as the University of Hawaii's Assistant Band Director. If you've been to a Rainbow Wahine volleyball game, you've probably seen her wearing her iconic balloon hats. Nakamura has been working at UH for more than 3 decades and says the band has played an important role at the school's sporting events.
