Lake Charles native’s home, community consumed by Calif. wildfire

As wildfires ravage Southern California, thousands of families have lost their homes, including some with Southwest Louisiana ties.

Bridgette August is a Lake Charles native but has called Altadena, California, home for nearly 40 years. That home is now gone.
