Every time you get a driver’s license or register a vehicle, you give the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles your personal information. But did you know that your personal data is being sold? It’s an unavoidable task with an unexpected exposure. In Kansas and Missouri, the state can sell the data you give to the Department of Motor Vehicles. It goes to private companies.
