A former car salesman and finance manager who spent over a decade on the inside, Tomi transitioned to the side of customer advocacy to save buyers from the overwhelming anxiety, frustration, and tension of the car-buying process. For a flat fee of $1,000, he takes over the grueling negotiation process on his clients' behalf—from finding the vehicle to reading the contract so they never set foot in a dealership. He spent years selling and financing cars, which is exactly how he knows where the money actually hides in a car deal. He even goes viral on TikTok and YouTube by livestreaming his tense, real-time negotiation calls with dealership staff, while also teaching his entire car-buying playbook publicly and for free so that people can negotiate themselves if they choose.

During our conversation, Tomi opened up about the pivotal shift in his career. The change wasn't a grand moral awakening, but a simpler decision: he realized he didn't want to be the reason someone drove home feeling worked. As Tomi beautifully put it, a more fulfilling life doesn't always mean doing something entirely different; sometimes it just means doing the same thing you are already good at, but for the other side of the table. By taking that same industry knowledge and pointing it in the opposite direction, he has built a business centered on radical transparency. He hopes to eventually force the entire industry to become customer-centric, proving that you can find your ultimate purpose simply by deciding who you want to fight for.
