The Drive with Tim Donnelly is live in Charlotte for the final day of the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff. Tim and Producer Dennis Cox discuss the different coaches and players who had media availability today, including North Carolina. Tim believes that North Carolina is on the same level as Clemson, but not in terms of talent, but in terms of the attention they receive from the media in regards to head coach Mack Brown, and quarterback Drake Maye.
The first player Tim had the opportunity to speak with was Wake Forest Linebacker Chase Jones, who discussed facing current quarterback Mitch Griffis in practice, and his expectations for the upcoming season.
Clemson offensive lineman Will Putnam discusses the development of QB Cade Klubnik, missing out on the College Football Playoff, if the CFP is the goal once again this year, losing to Tennessee football in the Orange Bowl, and NIL deals on The Drive.
