The Carolina Hurricanes introduced their new additions to the locker room this weekend

During the Daily Checkdown, Paul Ihnader & Graham Hill discuss the new Jerry Jones Netflix documentary series, participants in the Major League Baseball's homerun derby being announced, NBA Summer League games and local talent playing tonight, and Lionel Messi's Inter Miami negotiations take place over the past three years. 

Also, the Carolina Hurricanes had a busy first day of free agency, signing two critical players, Dmitry Orlov, and Michael Bunting. Orlov is a veteran defenseman from the Washington Capitals who brings experience and skill to the Hurricanes. At the same time, Bunting, from the Toronto Maple Leafs, is a physical forward who can add some toughness to the lineup.
