Tonight is the 2023 NHL Draft which is taking place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The top prospect in the draft is Connor Bedard, a highly skilled forward who plays for the Regina Pats of the WHL. Chris Lea & Dennis Cox discuss the Carolina Hurricanes' strategy in the draft as they hold the 30th pick in the first round.

Also, Norte Dame is looking to triple its football media rights fees. The Fighting Irish wants $65 million to $75 million annually for the next deal. If Norte Dame wants that kind of money, they might have to give up being independent for football and finally join a power five conference.
