Sam Howell finally named starting QB; Panthers wish list for second preseason game

Sam Howell has finally been named the starting quarterback of the Washington Commanders for the season opener. Tim believes that this decision by coach Ron Rivera finally ends what was a one-sided competition for the starting job. Tim explains how the Commanders mishandled this situation. 

Also, the Carolina Panthers and Bryce Young look to have a bounce-back week in their second preseason game. The Panthers play the New York Giants tonight at MetLife Stadium. After losing their first preseason game 27-0 against the New York Jets, Tim gives his wish list of things he wants to see the team improve tonight.
