East Carolina returned to its first bowl game since 2015 and picked up a huge win over Coastal Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl. It marks head coach Mike Houston first bowl victory with the program. North Carolina prepares for its bowl game as they face the 15th ranked Oregon Ducks in the Holiday Bowl.
Also, Antti Raanta, and the Carolina Hurricanes continue to stay red hot as they shutout the Chicago Blackhawks 3-0, giving them their 9th straight win.
