Several ACC football players, including UNC football QB Drake Maye and Duke QB Riley Leonard, were some of the many football players named to the 2023 Maxwell Award Watch List for the best player in college football.

Conference realignment and expansion rumors in college football are just that: RUMORS. Tim Donnelly points out how there were rumors of schools from the PAC-12 (Washington and Oregon) and the ACC )Clemson and Florida State) leaving for the Big Ten and that an announcement was imminent, but nothing came to fruition.
