Carolina Panthers regret trading DJ Moore; mishandled Brian Burns

Carolina Panthers traded multiple picks and WR DJ Moore to the Chicago Bears to draft rookie QB Bryce Young No. 1 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Tim Donnelly said they traded away the key piece that would help most with Bryce Young's development, and how a No. 1 WR is what Bryce Young needs most right now.

The Carolina Panthers did not trade OLB/Edge Brian Burns at the NFL Trade deadline for the second straight year, but Tim Donnelly points out that owner David Tepper and GM Scott Fitterer have failed to sign Burns to a long-term contract extension, and that the price tag for Burns continues to rise.
