Carolina Panthers lose to New Orleans Saints; SMU raises $100 million; Steelers take down Browns

The Carolina Panthers lose on Monday Night football to the New Orleans Saints, 20-17, but also lose LB Shaq Thompson for possibly the rest of the season with broken fibula. Also, the Pittsburgh Steelers dominates Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football that saw Browns RB Nick Chubb suffer a severe knee injury.

Also, SMU raised $100 million after it was announced they were joining the ACC. Also, Colorado and Colorado State averaged 9.3 million viewers on ESPN despite the game kicking off at 10PM ET.
