ACC Commissioner Jim Philips, who was the Northwestern Athletic Director from 2008-2021, was named in lawsuits filed by former Northwestern athletes over recent hazing allegations that have taken place across Northwestern athletics.
With an already stacked blue line, the Carolina Hurricanes don't need to trade for San Jose Sharks defenseman, and reigning Norris Trophy winner, Erik Karlsson.
