We sat down with Tift Merritt and covered a lot of ground, starting with Tift's recent European tour—with her daughter in tow! She shares the joys and challenges of life on the road, and we take a trip down memory lane to 2005, when her breakout album Tambourine earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album. Tift also provides an update on her new project, the meticulous renovation of the historic Gables Lodge in Raleigh, and of course, we dive into the exciting news of the re-release of Tambourine on its 20th anniversary, along with a special companion album of home demos and unreleased recordings from that era, titled Time and Patience.
