As realtor Ann-Cabell Baum with Glenwood Agency LLC notes, when the COVID pandemic hit, some people living in luxury condos set out to look for bigger spaces for more comfortable work-from-home experience. Some people even flocked to luxury townhomes for significantly larger spaces. As people sold their homes for upgrades, it showed realtors the real estate market wouldn't come to a grinding halt but rather the opposite.
As more people and businesses choose to move to North Carolina, the real estate market has seen a significant impact. Yes, Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill (The Triangle) have seen changes, but plenty of growth is happening outside that area too in places such as Clayton, Pittsboro, and Garner. Real Estate Rush North Carolina takes a look at the changing housing landscape in the area to paint a better picture for people moving here or who have lived in the Tar Heel State for a while. The podcast is a production of WRAL Podcasts in Raleigh, North Carolina and hosted by WRAL News Reporter Chris Lovingood.
